Arrived 2-45pm on Saturday 6th April.A very pleasant receptionist greeted us and gave us directions to our room. The wife had a spar booked so I had a couple of pi..."nts and watched the Grand National in the bar.The staff were really helpful. We retired to our room which was very comfortable but small. Had a couple of glasses of wine, showered and changed ready for dinner.Went to the restaurant, ordered which was a very good meal and wait for it, ordered a bottle of Rioja.The wine arrived and I looked at the price £32-50, for Londono (never heard of it ) Beware ask for a wine list.   "My husband stayed here for two nights for our wedding weekend. Unlike what some reviews have said, the way to the rooms are no hassle at all.They're easy to find the halls had just been painted so it's very clean. Tip 1: get a room with a good garden view. It does make a difference. Our room was ..."lovely, clean and had everything we needed. Bathrooms were spotless but there were a few water stains by the desk. The beds are very comfy and we slept well. Make sure to make the most of breakfast, it's so delicious and the staff are helpful and will bend over backwards to suit your needs. I had a veggie full english and hubby had the regular. It was hot, fresh and gorgeous with lots of continental variety. Be sure to go to decoro spa during your stay. You'll probably have to book but it's a must to go! We were entertained from 1pm until 5pm using all facilities and a massage. We got a nap in within the quiet room, not everyday you can do that in a public space! You'll feel very relaxed... " More >
