  "We had our wedding ceremony and reception at the village in april. We opted for their package deal and what value for money. Lauren was our event organiser leading up to the wedding, she was fantastic orgainising all our requests and wishes down to a T. And trust me they were not all usual requests..."...for example we wanted my dad, mum and my american cars on show for the day for photos etc, they capped off an area just for us even moving some of their promo cars to fit ours in, we had a burlesque dancer, a band, a cake that myself and my husband couldnt see until the wedding breakfast and more non traditional requests. Nothing was to much to ask. On the day we were allowed to get access to the rooms for decoration early in the morning. Myself and my sister stayed the night before had a meal in the chop house.....best ribs I have ever had! The ales are great too.   "Stayed here on business for two nights. Receptionist was fantastic - I did a walk in booking for the first night, wait listed for the second night. Very quickly resolved my second night stay which was a relief. Room on 3rd floor looked out on the airport but the sound proofing was excellent and I ..."wasn't disturbed. The room was large and very modern. A large powerful shower brought me to life in the morning. Breakfast was very good too - tasty bacon, good quality sausages and nice mushrooms. The only two things that prevent a five star rating were:> the tea had lime scale floating in it. I pointed this out on my first breakfast in the restaurant but it was the same the next morning.> the waitress that served me both days doesn't understand customer satisfaction and no-one seemed to be overseeing the staff. On the first day, I had to walk over to her and ask her how to get a pot of tea. She said she would take my order when I sat down! I sat down again and waited another 5-10 min... " More >
