  "Our party of ten had a lovely and comfortable stay at the Stables in May 2013 (6 adults + 4 children). Property was clean and well maintained inside and out … but with charm ! Great facilities for the kids (and men) with the play room, boat, bbq, swings and sauna (although we didn’t get to use it). ..."The open fireplace added to the ambiance and was much appreciated during the coolish spring evenings. Great help and assistance from Susannah prior to arriving and the same caring treatment from Katherine upon arrival. First time in Ireland and we loved it ; beaches, monuments, walks, Guinness and the warm welcome from all the locals. The Stables is perfectly located right on the water’s edge, nice big garden and with lovely hilly walks at hand. Derrynane beach very close by – breathtaking. It is a superb family hotel and accredited accordingly elsewhere, but it also the perfect place to stay when you are driving around the Ring of Kerry. I put in one proviso on the latter, don't just stay for one night in passing, stay for at least a couple of nights, explore in and around Derrynane and Caherdaniel village, absorb the place, you will find everyone just so friendly.
