  "From the moment you are greeted by the valet upon you arrival, the castle is an experience. Husband had business meeting during the day, the wives invited for dinner and overnight. Dinner was wonderful. We did the prixe fix, and it was very satisfying. Staff is exceptional, friendly, courteous, ..."and willing to go the extra mile. I am an early riser, and while there was coffee in the room, I was down in the lounge area and asked for coffee. The server apologized and said it will be about a three minute wait! He promptly brought me a wonderful hot, fresh cup. They will be opening an newly constructed spa on the property very soon. It looks beautiful. We will return. This would be a lovely venue for a wedding. I would recommend this hotel. " More >

  "I was here for a wedding recently and also stayed the night. The lobby is gorgeous; there is lots of space to sit and have a drink from the nearby bar. (Although I paid $18.25 for a beer, a glass of wine, and a ginger ale...seems a bit steep to me.) My room was well-appointed and comfortable. The ba..."throom was tiny, so it would have been difficult for more than two people to get ready at once. I didn't go out onto the "patio" since the weather was bad but it was essentially a concrete slab with a table and two chairs. There is no privacy as you could see everyone else out on their patios, too, so depending on your preference that could be good or bad. Breakfast was pretty good in the morning, although the service was quite slow. I would probably stay here again if I were in the area. " More >
