  "We truly enjoyed our stay at 42 Montgomery Bed & Breakfast Cherry Valley, New York more than any other trip we have taken. It possessed the elegance, hospitality and homey comfort that made our stay a must repeat. The renowned Glimmerglass Opera, the National Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown, ..."and the Fenimore and Farmer*s exquisite museums are all short drives. The dining at Alex & Ika, The Rose and Kettle was a wonderful suggestion made by our hostess Melanie. Waking to the aroma of brewing French roast and a full gourmet breakfast in the formal Dining Room truly makes the stay most pleasurable. Cherry Valley, I can only imagine with the "colors of fall" would be breathtaking. All I know for sure is I must return for another wonderful stay!!! " More >

  "We visit cooperstown every year to tour the Baseball Hall Of Fame for our anniversary. This year, our anniversary happened to be during the Induction Weekend. We had quite a time trying to find accommodations near or in Cooperstown. I almost gave up when I made my last phone call and it was to Loret..."ta at the Limestone Mansion. I noted the warmth in her voice and I knew that this B & B would be an excellent choice. Loretta & Wolfgang are excellent hosts. We were made to feel welcome as soon as we entered.The breakfasts were wonderful and could not be matched at any other B&B. On our anniversary, they brought our a lovely bottle of champagne and mixed it with fresh squeezed OJ in lovely champagne crystal. This started our day off on such a romantic touch.
