In other words when I hit HEAT I expected HEAT to kick in. Not so. There is a built in delay. Perhaps I was impatient. Conversely, the dead-bolt on the entrance door is not in my view consistent with America. In other words when you turn it you expect it to hit the dead-bolt pace and to secure the room. I never in the world expected that by turning this dead bolt it triggers the system and denies anyone from entering the room. I had no idea this was the norm; never having encountered such a security system in my many years of travelling. Hampton could do a better job of explaining this to travelers.
