  "We stayed at this hotel for a 5 day family vacation with our 2 daughters. Great location directly on the beach. The hotel was updated, very clean and well maintained. Our room was at the back with 'outside' access. I was a bit concerned at first because we were close to the elevator, but the room was very sound proof as we never heard any noise at night. Also, it seemed to be a family oriented hotel which was perfect for us.The front desk staff were very accommdating when we checked in. The only (very small) drawback to this hotel is the layout of the parking lot/beach access and the pool area. The pool area is quite small. Room: We stayed in the Shells Building - ADA Gulf front on the first floor in the middle of the week. Room was average sized (it was an ADA room) - we had a king size bed which was very comfortable - plenty of pillows - furniture was in very good condition - very clean - tiled floors -- nicely decorated - offered same soap products offered at the Hyatt -- sliding doors to beach area -- flat screen but was not HD (we didn't care).
