The owners here are very laid back and have a by-request approach to housekeeping, which we really appreciated. At the same time, they are a great source of information on restaurants, boat rides, etc. Someone mentioned a lack of umbrellas but they actually do have them, just in a different area from the lounge chairs. They also have well-appointed kitchenettes, beach towels, beach and sand toys for kids, hammocks, an outdoor BBQ area, two outdoor eating/lounging areas, lots of beach chairs, guest laundry, and even a small library for beach reading. Lucky for us resort owner Adrienne answered the phone and after a breif conversation she was helping plan our most perfect beach wedding and reception held at Cedar Cove. It was rainning the two days prior to the ceremony and she said no worries it will be a beautiful day and it was.The tiki huts we used for the reception were perfect and very tropical to add to the island ambiance and the old Flordia feeling. I would recommend to anyone that is looking for a beautiful setting for a beach wedding this is the place to be. The suite we had was the Flamingo which was very clean and had everything you need to be very comfortable. The veiw of the gulf from the room was very nice and the grounds were perfect for pictures.Without Adrienne we would not have been able to of had the wedding that we did,we can't thank her enough.
