Just a short drive south to restaurants but far enough away so you do not feel you are in a tourist area. It is very close to the beach and we could hear the sound ..."of the surf at night. You can easily walk down to the beach. We found some fossil sharks teeth walking along the beach. The property is a bit dated so if you are looking for granite counter tops and stainless steel appliances this isn't it.
