The return call was only hours before I actually needed to check in, only to tell me they..." didn't have room for us. It appeared not very customer friendly with odd hours of operation and not open seven day's a week. I am glad I stumbled upon this Inn! The employees are professional, helpful and friendly. The rooms are very nice, except for the lack of drapes or curtains that can block out the morning sun (I was wide awake at 4:15a.m., when the sun started rising). The restaurant is a welcome treat with very nice quality food, nice wine selection in a very comfortable atmosphere. I would highly recommend this Inn. " More >

  "We unfortunately stayed only 1 night here at this very lovely B&B. The Innkeepers, Brenda and Kevin were very hospitable. The morning breakfast was hearty and delicious! We had a wonderful room with lots of windows for the evening cool breezes, though they have a/c units in each room. There is also ..."private bathrooms for each room. Brenda makes the soap! The queen size bed was like sleeping on a cloud. Luckily we had a GPS to find this as those little roads in around Woodstock from the highways are convoluting but paved. I would highly recommend this as a stay in the country away from the chaotic city life. The old farmhouse is like a visit back in time. The gardens are lovely. The little towns near Woodstock are so cute. When we were there, Thompson was having a concert on the center green. This entire area of Connecticut is so adorable and quaint.
