  "We were only at the Inn for 1 night but it was a very pleasant stay. The decor is very Victorian. Dean had a lot of information about places to visit and a nice hike to Campbell Falls, which we enjoyed. There is a nice front porch and a beautiful patio for sitting and taking in some fresh air."

  "The house is magnificent, the welcome warm and the grounds are beautiful. Breakfast is homemade, substantial, and leisurely. If you can't unwind and need a little help accomplishing that, this is the place. Infinity Hall concerts are around the corner and Yale makes beautiful summer music nearby - ..."but the area generally is very, verylow-key. I find it perfect for a book, a walk, a serious slow down.   "If you're looking for a place that combines gracious hospitality, a gorgeous setting, and delightful food, Mountain View Inn is it. My wife I were referred by one of the locals to the Mountain View Inn when we asked where we might find a nice place to stay for an evening. We were directed to Dean ..."and Jean Marie, the Inn's proprietors. Upon our arrival, we were warmly greeted by our hosts and quickly felt right at home. Dean gave us the tour and filled us in on sights to see and where to eat dinner. Breakfast, prepared by Dean, was a delight to both the eye and the appetite. Although everything mentioned above added to our pleasant stay, what truly stood out were the conversations with Dean and Jean Marie. I felt like we were with old friends.
