  "This was a surprise trip for my birthday. I was so excited when we started driving and my husband told me we were headed to Yosemite. We pulled in to the Little Ahwanee Inn and I was immediately blown away. It is one of the most beautiful places we had ever stayed. As we walked in we were greeted by..." Kamina (the sweetest dog) and Grant and Beth who own the place. We felt so comfortable the minute we walked in. There are only 2 rooms in the entire place and they are both suites. Ours had a magnificent deck that we could enjoy our morning coffee on, a jacuzzi tub, and the best bed I have ever slept on. The whole place was so clean and cozy. We loved how secluded we felt from everything even though most of what you need is only a mile or so away. It was a great location being only 5 minutes to one entrance of Yosemite Park and about 45 minutes to the valley floor. The drive into Yosemite is beautiful the entire way. We needed a place to stay & came across Tenaya Lodge. We needed a place that had enough room for 4 people & had the privacy that we all wan..."ted. The Tenaya Lodge offers cottages along with rooms in the lodge. The cottage was perfect! The Tenaya Lodge is also very close to the South gate of Yosemite National Park. The only problem with this lodge is the service in a couple of the restaurants. The pizzaria was okay, but that is one of the restaurants that had pretty bad service. " More >
