The food and breakfast was excellent.Resturant staff was very helfful particularly Resturant Manager Mr Tariq & Capt Javid The rooms were good, warm and very comfortable. Every tiniest detail was taken care of and house keeping did a wonderful job. Even though it was Raining outside the rooms and hotel were always warm and comfortable. All in all it was the best stay we had and hats off to the Heevan group for its unmatched service which makes all the difference.   "After having a rough day in dealing with mafia of pony owners, standing 2-3 hours in line for gondola ride we checked in Vintage. We were greeted with hot Kahwa while front desk took care of our booking. Our luggage was promptly delivered to our room. Room was little small but was neat and clean...." Showers in bathroom was excellent. Hot shower after the rough day just took all the exhaustion out of our body. Room had a flat screen tv, coffee/tea maker and complimentary bottle of water. Hotel staff was very courteous and made every effort to make our stay relaxing and pleasant. After having hot shower we headed to on location restaurant for our dinner. They had decent selection of food. Since we were in Kashmir we wanted to try Kashmiri Pulao. We made a request that can we get Kashmiri Pulao also in our dinner. Restaurant staff spoke to chef immediately and after 10 mins they served us delicious Kashmiri Pulao which was on the house. I was truly impressed by the service by staff me... " More >

  "It was a fantastic stay at Gulmarg's Heevan Retreat. We opted for the cottage as we were 11 in all- 3 families. The manager was kind enough to let us use the 4th bedroom in the beautiful 4-bedroom cottage. We were all very well looked after by Mr. Latif Ahmed and Mr. Sun-ulla , the caretakers. Hats ..."off to their services. Strongly recommend Heevan Retreat for a memorable stay! The gondola is very close by..u will surely enjoy the walk . i recommend -dont waste time in the room! Just put on ur jackets and walk....... its beautiful everywhere. Hardly any vehicles. Evening walks are unforgetable. The cottage and resort are situated at a short distance apart, but hardly matters. Things are managed and taken care of very well by the management. " More >
