Jutta and Wilhelm, the hosts, are kind, polite and very helpful but, never overbearing. They made us feel so welcome! The apartment is clean, nicely furnished and the bed is comfy. Although there are plenty of great eateries in Tarifa we made all but one of our meals in the little kitchen. The local raw materials are so good that no complicated preparation was needed. We ate our food outside-facing Africa as the sun set over the Tarifan rooftops-bliss! The observatory was an amazing setting for a wonderful holiday. We can't wait to go again! " More >

We stayed on the mountain side because it was cheaper but would probably stay on the beach side next time. We will also rent a car as taxis are 10 euros to town. Rooms were kept very clean. Wi-fi connection was strong in room. Beautiful view of ocean from pool area. Tarifa is quite chilly in may so i would recommend traveling later in the summer.
