Used toilet facilities and they were excellent. So clean and fresh. Waiting staff so friendly and helpful and of all nationalities including Irish! Menu was broad and so reasonable at 10euro for mains. And I was so thrilled that they understood gluten free and even had bread! Two lunches - 3courses - 33euro!! Bargain!   "We have just come back from one of the most enjoyable weekends away in Ireland we have had in years. We booked Mornington based on other reviews and my initial contact with Anne and Warwick. This was a birthday surprise for my wife so two of our friends joined us along with our two children (age 12 ..."& 9) and their son (age 13). From the moment we arrived we were made feel at home. We were treated to afternoon tea with homemade scones, biscuits and cake which were all superb. Anne and Warwick gave us some tips on what and where to visit the following day. So we went to Lough Crew and saw the ancient tombs which the children found fascinating and then off to a little market close by. On the Saturday evening we had a top class dinner of Smoked Salmon, Carrot and orange soup, Beef in Guinness with hot beetroot, courgette and new potatoes all followed by a baked cheesecake with strawberries which was absolutely amazing.
