The main draw, besides the nicely appointed rooms, is the huge pool area. Many pool areas to be enjoyed culminating in an infinity pool area that looks as though it ends in the ocean. The pool attendants act as though their main desire in life is to make the guests comfortable-even coming over to reposition our lounge chairs as the sun moved because we had requested a shady setting and they were going to see we had exactly what we wanted. The beach is not swimmer friendly with rough tides and a rocky shore but is very interesting to look at with stunning sunsets and great photo ops.   "This resort is fantastic. I will start with the staff, this may be the friendliest staff at any resort or hotel I have ever stayed at. Every employee we encountered greeted you in passing and served you with a big smile. The room was fabulous with a comfortable king bed,black-out curtains a wonderfu..."l tub with a slide out wall for a view. Sadly we did not have time to kick back on the balcony with it's comfy couch and chairs, it also had a pull down shade to block the sun. Should have extended our trip a few days. The pool area was amazing as well, it was huge with an ifinity pool over looking the beach. The music at the pool was relaxing muted,not the typical loud resort pool music thank you! The pool and beach chairs were great and the staff was quick to bring covers for the chairs along with towels. The beach was nice and clean it was a bit rocky(typical Pacific beach) but a few yards in the water and your playing in the waves. I only have a couple of very small issues however were ... " More >

  "I've grown up coming to this little hotel on the beach. My family calls it "smurf village." The hotel consists of individual tiki huts on the beach. You fall asleep to the sound of waves crashing on the beach and wake up to the birds chirping. Ive always stayed in non- a/c cabinas but now they have ..."a few with a/c. I would not recommend this hotel to someone looking for something fancy and glamorous. Instead, it is very natural/chill/relaxing. Anyone who enjoys the outdoors and has a love for nature will like this hotel. They now offer beachside yoga, massage, surf rental, and you can walk to a few restaurants. " More >
