The "room" (more like a villa) has a balcony that faces the lake directly as well. Unfortunately their lake pavilion is not reachable anymore since the water level increased. Consequently, the boats from Parapat don't want to dock there anymore. You'll have to alight at Bagus Bay and walk to the hotel. Overall, we were really happy saying in Toba Village Inn. " More >

  "I stayed here for 2 nights. Bed was so comfortable. Staffs were friendly. Breakfast was good. The bakery was good. Price was reasonable for the only German bakery in Samosir island. Thank you to the staff for packing our coffee luwak."

  "I stayed several nights in this place and on the whole enjoyed my stay. I stayed in a budget room at the "beach" and my room had a lovely view to the lake. The room was fine - very spacious for the price I paid. The food in the restaurant was pretty decent too - try the fruit salad: lots of it and g..."reat value! As others have mentioned, overall the place could use some updating, but it didn't impact my stay. I liked the service in the restaurant especially from the more senior members of staff - generally they were friendlier.
