  "I have been a return guest at this hotel for the past 18 years or so. Not a single time has it disappointed. The service has consistently been great with lots of staff. Dining is amazing, I personally love the Pavilion restaurant. Amazing to relax and blend with nature. The golf carts which carry ..."you around are silent and do not impact the natural sounds. I recommend going on a nature walk either at night or in the early morning. The island itself has little to do, but these walks are one of the things that you can do. Otherwise, the beach has plenty of activities. Kayaking to the near by little island is nice too. Definitely a place to relax. I went as a child at the beginning, no problem with the hotel. Has an area only for adults and a pool for children, as well as the beach. It was great. " More >

  "LOCATION AND ACTIVITIES...Rebak Island resort is located in a private island which is far from the main tourist attractions of the mainland like pentai cenang beach, kuah and others.It takes 5 mins from airport to the Langkanusa port where there's a boat that will take you to the resort for 15 mins..." ride. The location is beautiful, though it is quite far from the mainland the resort has it's daily activities. Biking, trekking, and even reading books in their library is available. The beach is not white sand compare with the other famous beaches in Langkawi but it's clean tho. FOOD...buffet breakfast is awesome from different fresh fruit juices to international and local foods. A la carte menu is way expensive compare to the mainland island.Better to dine in mainland where there's a lot of places to eat especially in kuah or pentai cenang.Pentai cenang offers night market during fridays and saturdays but sadly we missed that one. I loved pretty much everything about this hotel, from the hospitality, to the food, to the bedroom itself, all second to none. After a tiring adventurous day out and about, it was always a pleas..."ure to return back to The Danna for a relaxing evening. Although the buffet during breakfast was not as extensive as some other hotels, the menu for fresh orders which accompanied the buffet contained some absolutely delicious items, just the way I like it, and all accompanied by a live pianist at times! Their infinity swimming pool overlooking the ocean is probably the nicest swimming pool I have ever seen at a hotel, it not only accommodates children who wish to paddle in one area of the pool, it contains a full 25 metre rectangular section for serious swimmers. The bedroom is definitely the nicest bedroom I have ever stayed in, and I've stayed in a fair few hotels in the past 10 years... " More >
