  "Praslin was the first island we visited. We stayed at Mango Lodge for 6 nights in March – what a perfect way to start our time in the Seychelles! We did a lot of research trying to choose where to stay, and, having seen some of the places we nearly chose, it is clear that we stayed in the BEST resor..."t and BEST accommodation by far. Cote D’or is a good base to explore the Island, and there are a couple of good supermarkets in the village. The Sagittarius Boat company on the beach offer boat excursions and also’taxi boats’ (as well as the free sunbeds for Mango Lodge residents!). We recommend the taxiboat to Anse Georgette for 30Euros each - you can choose your drop off/collection time and arrive direct on the beach . The only other method is to access via the other side of the island (go by bus or car) but you still have to book a time to visit the beach through the Lemuria Hotel.   "We stayed at the Dhevatara Beach Hotel for 12 nights for our honeymoon, and we didn't regret it! After a tiresome journey, we arrived in this small and quiet hotel, and at once we were surronded by a relaxed and zen athmosphere. The aquatic gardens and all the surrondings in the hotel gave us a feel..."ing of well-being and peace, which was highly enjoyable as we are living in a big city. We simply loved this setting! We were welcomed with a refreshing cocktail and accompanied to our ocean view villa. The room itself was quite big, and needless to say clean and well kept. The food cooked by native chef Pat was delicious, we just could't have enough of it! During all our stay, we could relax and enjoy, thanks to the staff, very friendly and helpful with everything, from helping us with breakfast, or giving instructions, or making dinner reservations elsewhere.   "First of all I would like to explain why we booked Les Villas d'Or - of course becouse TripAdvisor reviews and recommendations . But I hope taht utill today there was no full review describing that place and showing it's main pros and coins . Localization: The hotel is situated near the main ro..."ad, but not strictly by it. Villas are about 150 m from the road so you don't fell it`s presence. You have got about 600 - 800 m to the nearest shop and to the main center of village - Cote d`Or so it's really a short walk . 3/5 Villas : They are old fashioned and splited, the surface is about 70 m with an antresole. You have got a small bedroom with air-condition which was the cause throat sore after first day ...and our neighbour from Germany was so sick that I had to help him with my antibiotics . Kitchen is connected with the main room, furniture are really very very old, only the oven and worktop in kitchen looks like new. Also the bathroom is cool an it's look like ii was renova... " More >
