There is always fresh cake and fruit for you to take anytime and the staff are some of the most frindly hostel volunteers I have ever met...."   "I've never written a review before but feel I have to for the Fauzi Azar Inn as it was such a good place to stay. Travelling by myself I'd originally planned on only staying only two nights before walking the Jesus Trail. However due to some difficulty arranging accommodation I decided to stay at th..."e Inn, returning by bus at the end of a day's walking and then catching the bus back again the following day to where I had finished and restarting from there. I'm glad I did this as it meant I had longer at what was the best accommodation of my trip to Israel. I stayed in the dorm which was excellent value for money, breakfast was included and consisted of a varied buffet which was usually enough to fill me up until late evening. I'd no problem sleeping in the dorm. The Inn is centrally located and the free tour of the old city was informative and useful. Most of all however I'd praise the friendliness of the staff, local and foreign, who seemed to go out of their way to be helpf... " More >

  "A fascinating hostel like none other I have yet experienced. A 200 year - old Arab Christian home with Christian, Muslim, and Jewish staff and management. A friendly atmosphere and a highlight of our trip. A great Middle Eastern breakfast, comfortable beds (our party of 4 was in the mixed dorm), esp..."resso, cappuccino, etc., available on the premises, a comfortable sitting room, and a location near restaurants and at least one good falafel place, as well as the souq and a lot of history,and a free telling of the history of the family, the house and how it became a unique hostel combined with an interesting walking tour of Old Nazareth add up to make this a favourite with our group.
