Seriously, a good 15 minutes just to be acknowledged (there were 3-4 staff working, 2 were checking people out, and 2 were going in and out of the back office). Preferences and notes from our booking (that they ask for in the online booking process - bedding preference, smoking or non-smoking, breakfast included or not etc. etc.) all had to be answered and entered again. Why? It only added to the lengthy check in process. Reception is very dark, but that's probably the whole rock star vibe they're going for with the purple velvet everywhere. Upon arrival an hour earlier than check in time (2pm), we were graciously greeted by the front desk clerk and swiftl..."y checked us in. The clerk asked me how many we were in the party and issued us Sentosa Island passes and complimentary welcome ice cream. We got connecting rooms and our kids absolutely loved them. The rooms were a wonderful respite after an early morning flight. Light colored wood against white linen and cream roman blinds were very soothing. A free-standing bathtub, a separate shower stall and an enclosed toilet were in the spacious bathroom. The hotel also provided a Nespresso machine with assorted capsules, perfect for coffee lovers.
