It is within easy walking distance, approximately 20 minutes (going downhill) to the Old City and Mamilla, walking back was uphill but also very easy and not a problem. The position of The Arthur is truly amazing, right in the centre of all the cafe and sounds of Ben Yehuda and Jaffa Street and seconds from the main road where there are buses and taxis all the time. You do have to walk about 2 minutes to get to where any transport stops, so wheely luggage is a must in my opinion! " More >

Cons....thin walls, beware of noisy children next door; check your destination carefully re directions to museums ; spa reservationist gave me incorrect information. Her supervisor had to call me back with the right info. I wouldn't hesitate to stay there but, in general, I would prefer the King David or the David Citadel. " More >
