The shower and bathroom are nice, There was a good breakfast served every morning. When we went on full day tours they packed us a box lunch. The lunch was very nice and well varied. Stayed there just two nights and we were off to Punakha. I would reccommend to others. This has really nothing to do with the hotel but in the square at night there are many barking dogs and it very much affects your sleep quality. " More >

  "When we stepped into the hotel, we were asked to sit down at the sofa area in the lobby and greeted with a cup of tea, all the checked-in procedures were completed while we were sitting and drinking our tea. Then we were escorted to the beautiful garden and receive a blessing from a Lama. The hote..."l lobby was artistically designed. The room was spacious and richly decorated with wood and art works. It was a pleasure just sitting in the room, appreciating the artwork and the serene mountain view - I could sit in the room for hours. There was a swimming pool inside the hotel which was pretty unusual for hotels in Bhutan. The courtyard was quiet and beautiful. We visited in the evening and again the following morning. I definitely would spend more time in this place if we stayed longer in the hotel. We had our dinner at the Bhutanese restaurant. The service was good but food was average.   "Hotel kisa is located at the heart of thimphu city. For tourists like me, the location is fantastic because of the shops and restaurants available nearby. I went there with my family for a trip of 3 days. There airport pickup service was fantastic. They sent a luxury SUV to pick us up. Upon reaching...", which was around an hour trip from paro airport to the hotel in thimphu, the room keys were all ready for us. I suggest you take rooms on the upper floors as the view from the front is just breathtaking. The room was very clean, had an equipped well working room heater which is a blessing cause bhutan is a very cold country. The beds were very clean and the room seemed very spacious. My room was a superior deluxe room. The TV had a lot of channels and the bathroom was very clean. There seemed to be hot water present from the early morning however I noticed the warm water to run out by the afternoon.
