  "Our stay consisted of two nights at the Mercure Kasprowy Hotel in Zakopane. The hotel is very modern and located on the side of a mountain next to a ski slope. Shortly after arrival in the rain, a beautiful rainbow appeared across the valley which was gorgeous. Sheep were grazing on the ski slope outside. There was a large pool in the front of the hotel that was not open and did not have water in it. Our dinner the first night was in the cabin behind the hotel and local folklore performers entertained at the buffet. This was very enjoyable. Zakopane is a beautiful area with so much to see. Recommend taking the Funicular ride to the summit of Mt. Gubalowka for great views. The hotel was not within walking distance of the main town and shopping area and the taxi was very affordable.   "Nice hotel with a lot of charm. They have bigger rooms available to accommodate a family of four. Buffet breakfast was great! Lots of different options. Good location. Front desk staff was very helpful. I would stay here again."

  "We spend one week in Zakopane in the Marilor Villa which was definitely a good choice! It's a very charming old style hotel, elegant jet cosy. our room was specious, with two balconies and well furnished. The bathroom a bit small and old, also the towels looked a bit used though they were clean. The..." staff was very friendly and attentive and speak several languages. e.g. we wanted to go swimming in the pool with our 1 year old child but forgot the swim nappies which was no problem because they had some for free for us! We liked the breakfast as it was full of typical polish dishes but also international standards. For dinner the restaurant was not very well visited due to the expensive prices! they offer a good choice of traditional polish dishes but unfortunately also some exotic staff like Thai soup which appears a bit over ambitious and did not really fit to all the rest.
