This resort is smaller than other resorts we have been at in the Mayan Riviera area from Cancun to Tulum. The Wedding was very well planned and organized by the resort wedding planner, Anna, and everything went off without any hitches. My only complaint would have been the rehearsal dinner where you would have to pay extra to get a good cut of meat. We have the ribeye which didn't have the extra $44 surcharge and it was a mistake. The meat was horrible being mostly grissle and fat. The other restaurants (Japanese, Italian, Mexican and La Pettiit Creperie) were good but if you are a picky eater or vegetarian, there aren't many options for you here, but for most people you can usually find something you are happy with. I really can't find too much negative about the place.The resort is beautiful and the staff work very hard to keep it this way. We were in building 16,2nd floor right in front of the pool. Great location,close to pool,beach a..."nd the buffet by pool. What more could you ask for. The activity crew around the pool were great always trying to get people to have fun, and we did. The bartenders at the swim up bar and the bar by the pool worked very hard all day to get us our tasty cocktails! The marina restaurant was a better bet than the other restaurants so we dined in the buffets most of the time. There was always something to be found at the buffets.Lobby bar entertainment in the evening was great. The lady singing was very good and energetic.
