  "We are just back from a one night stay at the Tulfarris where we attended a wedding. While a wedding will always give a slightly different aspect to a hotel stay, we sampled enough of the hotel to get a feel for it, and very much liked what we experienced. The hotel is situated close to Blessington ..."lake, has views onto the Wicklow Hills, and is close to some of the well-known surrounding sites such as Glendalough. The hotel interior is modern. The room that we stayed in is nicely decorated, it was very clean, and we had a walk in shower and spacious bathroom. There is a golf-course as the hotel name suggests on the doorstep, but not being players of golf, we would be happy to return to use it as a base to explore Wicklow which is very beautiful. We experienced the wedding food which was generous and very good, and the service was excellent and efficient. The hotel bar is also a plus, with low lighting and a large open fire, it is perfect for unwinding after a day of golf or site seeing... " More >

  "Stayed 2 nights at the tulfarris, wish had booked for longer. Really chilled out place. All staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Great views of golf course from bar and restaurant - some rooms have similar views but not ours on this occasion. Room was spacious and clean though with big walk in..." shower. Decent breakfast and evening meal and got a good web deal which we booked direct via the hotel website. Good location for Wicklow mountains area.
