We and our guests enjoy adult refreshments from the pub in the hotel. However a real treat was the traditional Irish music at the hotel owned pub up the road, The Thatch.   "Originally planned to stay here for one night, however liked it so much we stayed for three Beautiful views over the Lake, especially when sun was shining. Town of Ballyshannon was lovely and very friendly. NB it is on a steep hill Very clean site, with clean facilities. Free hot showers and ..."free hot dish washing facilities. Also supply a leading brand of washing powder. Clothes drier was not on a time limit and therefore no need to top up with Euros. There is a TV room with comfy chairs and books.   "stayed an overnight here with a group of cyclists, secure room prvided for the bikes. Bar prices reasonable, bedrooms clean & tidy, no weddings-disco's. It is located on a pier & is scenic. Restaurant very reasonable, great not to get rippped off & good value for money"
