There are bars and good restaurants as well as a super-market, if you prefer cooking yourself (our unit had a kitchen). You can reach Positano also by using stairs (1.200!) or walking on the road (4km). It also worth visiting the nearby village of Nocelle.   "At first , the bus trip up to Montepertuso makes one think "oh no , what have I got myself into". After 1 day in Positano, I go "I've made the best choice!" The location of Il Pertuso is great without having to climb steps, the bus ride is fun and besides the bird's eye view of positano, you get..." to see the locals socialising on the bus.   "What can we say. Our stay here was exceptional. Salvatore was a great host. His helper Dmitry was kind and courteous. They treated you with respect and gratitude. Their breakfast was the best we had at any B&B or Hotel for that matter. Freshly made croissant, pastry's, cappuccino's, fruit, bre..."ad and cold cuts. Rooms are clean and spacious. View is incredible. They treated us like friends. If you are lucky enough to meet the father, Carlo, he gladly shares his home made limoncello, wine and other goodies. When we first arrived, the greeted us with coffee, pastries, and water and juices. Great restaurants in the Montepertuso, from fine dining to local cuisine.
