  "We were looking for a hotel close to the airport AND which could be used as a base for Venice too - and this was perfect. We took their shuttle bus service at 5:00 am and we were glad we stayed here, instead of carrying heavy luggage across cobbled steps of Venice. The bus service was prompt and eff..."ective, though they did drop us slightly away from the Departure area. As for the hotel, the room is nice and pleasant. The bathroom is nice too, though (as mentioned before) it could do well with shower door/curtains. Our room was quiet and away from the lift, which helped. The breakfast spread was huge and delicious. We needed some last minute print outs and the staff was very helpful with the same. There is one bus which goes to Venice once in every 30 minutes and it was easy to time our journey to the island accordingly. However, since its the only one going to Venice island, it did get crowded in the evenings. Do clarify in the hotel how to use the bus tickets though - each city... " More >

  "An excellent place to stay when you want to visit Venice"
  "This hotel is the perfect place to stay when you want to visit Venice, you want comfort and you don't have too much money to spend for the hotel. I checked and i found out that the same cathegory of hotel has a double price in Venice. The hotel is just across the train station and the bus station ..."and it takes exactly 10 minutes to get in Venice. The train ticket is 1.20 Euro. From the airport you cant take the bus that comes every 30 minutes and leaves you across the hotel. The bus ticket is 6 or 7 Euro. The hotel staff is very friendly, the rooms are comfortable and the breakfast is OK (very good coffe). I highly recommend this hotel! " More >
