  "This is a very nice renovated villa, with excellent facilities, very good for stay with children.We were not very lucky with the weather, but then we could enjoy our time in the house. We had a spacious room with a terrace. The living room, although it was in the common area shared with other guests...", was, in fact, solely at our disposal. The common area had a well equipped kitchen, that was a free bonus, since we did not expect that. The rooms were equipped with air conditioning/heater, which was very useful during cold days. There was also a swimming pool, but it was still too cold to swim and it was closed. Even though we did not speak Italian, it was not a problem to communicate with the owner and with the personnel. By the way, do not forget to visit the spa (terme) in the nearby city. It is different from the spa that we have in the northen Europe, but still we enjoyed it a lot.   "I stayed here for 4 nights on a Newmarket coach tour. Please remember that the facilities were tailored to secure Newmarket's business. Location- a 15 minute brisk walk downhill or up a steep hill to the main square or 30 minutes to primary shops location. Has a few shop /bars within 5 minutes - no..."thing much. On the downhill walk there's a bank on the left hand - keep clear and use the autobank booth near the Tourist Office. Staff - they all had a cheery smile and very efficient, one person on our table did not feel like eating his choice of main meal ( you ordered it night before) and the waitress immediately asked what he would like. Bedroom - spacious, plenty of wardrobe space and drawers. Opened out to a small balcony - no views ( we were on the corner). The bed was a bit on the hard side. Clean. Bathroom - clean, hot shower at all times, large soft towels. Food - breakfast was ok, evening meal was 5 courses ( soup-pasta-salad-main-cake). Pool - nice area with plenty of sun... " More >
