  "We stayed in the Black Suite which was pretty cool. The bare floors, walls, ceiling and furniture were all black. They kept the room very clean as I did not see any dust which would be very visible against black. After leaving my own dust on the furniture, the maid cleaned very well everyday as the ..."dust was gone when I returned to the room. The bathroom with the tub and separate shower was open to the bedroom and the sliding door did not cover the whole length of the bathroom so someone can peek around it to see you in the tub. I discovered I am allergic to goose down pillows on my first night so I called downstairs at midnight to have hypoallergenic pillows sent up. They delivered 2 synthetic pillows right away so their service was excellent. The hotel bar on the top floor of the building was lively and busy. Breadsticks accompanied the drinks. Overall this was a fantastic hotel and I will stay again next time I visit Vienna. " More >

The hotel is very quiet, pleasant and clean and the rooms are a good size. (We found our room got very warm unless we used the a/c, which disturbed our sleep a little, or opened a window.) The breakfast buffet had a good selection, perhaps geared more to the Continental taste than the English taste, quite understandably, but we always found plenty to satisfy us. The Reception staff were very pleasant and helpful. We would happily use the hotel again. " More >
