On all three occasions, upon arrival to Athens Air..."port, I travelled straight to the ex Shadow Hotel / now Jo Rooms for the first few days of my holiday for the simple reason (excluding my friend connection) that the hotel, is perfectly situated in an area immersed in tranquillity, culture and history that makes it mystically relaxing. Likewise, at the end of my holidays, I have always stayed for a few days at the ex Shadow Hotel / now Jo Rooms to unwind from a long period of touring around Europe, prior to my departure back to Melbourne Australia.
