  "Wonderful place to stay."
  "It was my first visit to Manos and I was pleasantly surprised. The apartment was immacculate, roomy and well equipped. We had 2 balconies and a sea view (no. 6). The housekeeper was so helpful, always about and nothing was too much trouble. The cook Armena was great and produced some lovely food. Th..."e barman was a right giggle and made us some fantastic cocktails. Mikalis and Nektaria (bar owners) were always on hand during the day and made us very welcome with tips for restaurants, shops etc. The village is a pleasant 5 min walk along the sea front, lots to do and see.   "On arrival to our room at the Elounda Village our room was much better than expected. We had booked to stay in a room with a twin bed, bath and no shower, but found a large double no bath but 2 showers instead. Our balcony had a sea view on one side, but was blocked by a derelict hotel on the other...." Waiter service in the bars was good; however we found it hard to get a second drink without having to ask someone to serve us. We stayed on the all-inclusive package, and found it to be good value for money with excellent quality food and drinks available, although unlike other all-inclusive packages not everything is free, so you have to be careful what you order. We ate at the Symposium restaurant on its Asian buffet night and found the food to be good however it wasn't kept quite warm enough, whereas in the main restaurant we found the food good and hot.   "We booked this hotel because it was adults only and we went for half board, junior suite, with private pool. We could not fault the service we received from all the staff, it was brilliant. The room was cleaned every day along with the pool. The food was good and there was a variety of dishes to ..."choose from both at breakfast and the evening meal and a good selection of salads along with a pasta choice if you didn't fancy the meat or fish. The food was replenished very frequently to avoid it being cold and the chefs were always smiling and would explain what the food was if you were unsure (mostly labelled though). Lots of choices of desserts and fruits and always about 4 flavours of ice cream, believe me, there is something for everyone!! The location of the hotel is a little out of Elounda, but you can walk it in about 20 minutes - it's a straight road and pavement all the way.
