  "We walked into this hotel immediately after checking,out of the best western next door (we decided to stay an extra night in Montreux and didn't want to stay at the best western another night) and the difference in customer service was amazing. Location is excellent if you're arriving by train, but yet it doesn't seem to have the same dodgy area feeling that hotels sometimes do when they're close to the train stations. Small town I guess! The staff were great to us, super polite and courteous without being over bearing. The room was just gorgeous with loads of wow factor. It h..."ad a big balcony that opened up over the lake and was very elegantly decorated. There is a fine restaurant in the hotel at which enjoyed a superb meal. The inside/outside bar was great too. I thought the room rate was very good for such an amazing stay. Adding to all this is the convenient location... the hotel is almost directly opposite the train station which makes it very easy to get to if you are coming in from the airport at Geneva.
