About a 5 minute walk up a steep hill from the train station which provides for some great views. Supposedly a golf cart is available to meet you at the train station but not on holidays (when I was there). We liked this town the best of the 5 for a place to stay. More of a real town due to less tourists and more locals. BEST WAY TO GET THERE: Let them know your train arrival time and they will meet you at the station. TYPE OF ROOM: 

Least expensive room and the garden suite. Garden suite was twice the price but we preferred the other room and were surprised by the difference in price. Garden view room would have an ocean view from the patio ... " More >

  "This was our favorite among our 3 hotels and 2 apartments during our recent 3 weeks in Italy. The Marina apartment has a balcony with a view of the sea. We appreciated having a clothes washer and only 15 steps up from the street. Access from the train station was as good as it gets in Cinque Terr..."e, and there were excellent places to eat nearby. The manager couldn't have been nicer or more accommodating. There was a little noise from the neighbors at the back during the night but surprisingly little from the street. The mattress was firm, the linens bright and fresh, the rooms spacious and immaculate. The Marina apartment is a comfortable, convenient place to stay and a great value! " More >

  "Spent 4 nights here in May. Beautiful setting. Helpful and friendly staff; Comfortable rooms with Nespresso machines. 2 minutes from Billy's, the best restaurant in Cinque Terre. Could not ask for more."
