  "We stayed here on a driving holiday through northern Spain. We only stayed one night but would have happily stayed more if our plans allowed. The reception staff were really helpful, their English was great and they gave us maps and info to help us get about. The room was really clean, spacio..."us and modern. The bathroom was stunning! Thy have a secure car park over the road and is through a locked door. Size wise it could be a bit tight if it was full but thankfully it was empty when we were there. There is a bit of a ramp so depending on your car you need to be a bit cautious. The town is great and really buzzing. It is very Spanish and we didn't hear any other English voices all night. That won't suit everyone but we love it. If I was in the area I'd stay here again any time. " More >

  "A wonderful family run hotel high in the Pyrenees in the Hecho Valley. A great central location for hiking and sightseeing. Rooms were very clean and the meals, breakfast and dinner, included in the price, were good country cooking. They made a great cup of coffee."

The hotel has very pleasant public areas, including a large bar serving tapas when the restaurant isn't open (it's closed 16.00 to 20.30 in the evening). Wifi is free in the downstairs lounge, although not in the rooms. The charming lady on reception was very friendly – her English was as good as our Spanish, which is to say 'very limited'. Our room was spacious and well furnished, with elaborate marble tiling of the floor, effective aircon, and two oversized singles making a bed larger than king-size. Thank heavens, sheets and blankets rather than the dreaded doona/duves that are the fad elsewhere. Sleeping comfort, at last! The bathroom was nicely appointed and large enough.... " More >
