The room that I had was quiet. It is small, but clean and well maintained. The breakfast was awesome. There was a wide range of choices, cold and hot. Oh, the bread, so good! The hotel staff are very friendly and helpful. This is a 3-star hotel. There isn't much luxury. The free internet broke down 1 night (out of 4). For less than the most basic choice in Stuttgart, I got one of the highest ranked hotels in Karlsruhe. Many previous reviewers had raved about the breakfast in Rio, and they were not wrong. Don’t be fooled by the 6 euro charge, it's just a token price. Most establishments would charge at least 4 times as much for such a great choice and elaborate presentation, and this quality of the bread and ham is unheard of even at top end luxury hotels.
