The spa bathroom was wonderful - enormous and kitted out to die for. Nice touches such as magnifying mirrors in the bathroom and dressing table with lights, welcome glass of wine in the room for each of us. The breakfast sounds expensive but so long as you take advantage of it then it's very good value - you won't need lunch (and eating out in Heidelberg is quite pricey). We had supper in the German restaurant in the hotel and thought this wasn't such good value though food was good quality and service excellent. The Vier Jahreszeiten is next to the Old Bridge and you can walk everywhere in the Historic part of the City of Heidelberg. You may even walk up to the Castle or walk accross the Old Bridge up to the Philosophen Weg from where you also have a beautiful view of the City.
