It is in the most perfect location on the hillside but within easy reach of the fashionable resorts of Cannes, Nice and even Monte Carlo is within travelling distance. The gite itself was well equippe..."d, tasteful French decor and lots of outdoor sitting areas. We were made to feel most welcome by Jane the on-site manager who is passionate about sharing her local knowledge which helped us get the most from our stay. It was the perfect vacation which allowed us to get out and explore the local area whilst also being able to relax in the comfortable setting of the Mas du Bois Dore.   "Stayed here for one night on the top floor with super views of the sea. Nice big room 522 and all modcons. Handy for airport and Nice is only a 1.5 euro bus ride away. The hotel is only a small part of the toal biulding area, which is shared by other hotels. No pool to speak of apart from a padd..."ling pool. Pleny of places to eat nearby as the hotel is on the front. We waited at the bar for a drink but despite being seen by staff we were ignored, so went to the resturant just near the back entrance and had a great meal. Would stay again though. Very helpful desk staff. Shuttle bus to airport was handy. Breakfast was expensive at 23 euros each, so we ate on the front. " More >
