  "Not exactly cheap but soo much worth it! During your stay you have access to the castle grounds. Ideal with children. You can access the maze before the masses of tourists arrive. Breakfast (English) in a magnificent hall with view on the castle. We stayed 2 nights / family of 5. Children (14-13-10)..." had one room and we had the other room in that building. Couldn't be better! It's true we did hear the flushing of the toilet and the running water from the room adjacent to ours (different entrance though) but fortunately our neigbours didn't get up too early ;-). Kids were delighted with the peacocks, ducks, geese, swans and chicks. And the playground stayed open after the castle had closed as well. Only disadvantage could be that you have to go out for dinner, but with the Ringlestone Inn not too far away we were happy to do so!   "I was really pleased with my stay at Maidstone Central Travel Lodge, on arrival at around 5.30pm there was a young man at reception who's name i did not get. He was extremely friendly and supportive and made us feel very welcome. The next morning on our departure there were two nice blokes at rece..."ption who's names were Chris and Tim, they were really nice guys who engaged us in friendly conversation and asked if we had a good nights sleep and if we enjoyed our stay. We had a meal in the restaurant, it was basic and a little pricy, but convenient with friendly and helpful members of staff with a young lady from Romania who's name now escapes me. Although there were lots of young people staying on the Friday evening I must say that I was pleased with the cleanliness, the peace and quiet and the friendliness of all staff and other guests.   "We had Two nights at this hotel. Check in was was easy and the room was clean tidy in good order and the bathroom had everything you need. The hotel was very quiet the first night and the service in the resaurant was very good. The food looked great and tasted just as good. The fonant was not w..."et in the middle but tasted great so I will let them off. The second night we had booked a table at the same time as coach party and thought we may have to wait for our food. However the service was as good as the night before and the food still looked and tasted great. Prices in the resaurant and bar were reasonable and as we booked via the best western rewards it worked out a great value weekend. I would have no problems recommending this hotel for a weekend away.
