House is spotless, rooms were large with comfy beds and beautiful bathrooms. It was easy to find well signposted and close to the beach only five minutes walk to the village. Great for us so quite and chilled, would also be great for walkers, cyclists and surfers but with the double garage and beautiful riding roads bikers will love it. Only down side is not the accommodation but the town of Easkey no restaurants just two pubs and a kebab shop but like most wee towns in Ireland they are suffering from Euro Death though don't let this stop ...   "I've been coming back to Easky for the surf since the beginning of the nineties. The challenge has always been to get hold of a good place to stay. When I travel I sometimes stay at luxury hotels but if no good alternatives are available I don't mind staying in a tent on the beach. However, Ocea..."n Sound B&B really surprised me. its situated 300 meter from the ocean, where one of Europes best surfing spots is situated. The rooms were very nice, equipped with their own bathroom and shower. Super friendly host and great breakfast alternatives. My best recommendations for this place if you plan to catch either waves, go fishin in the nearby river or maybe a round of golf at the Enniscrone Golf Club 10 minutes away. ps. If you end up here. Make sure to pay Mc Gowans pub a visit. Classical family owned pub with sometimes great musical nights on Thursday or Fridays. " More >
