  "This b&b is top notch, both in location and hosts. We stayed 2 nights and upon arriving, we thought we could catch a Smithwick's tour...too bad for us it was fully booked. But Helen saved us by quickly booking us another tour the following day. All this in the first 5 minutes of meeting us! Now tha..."t is Irish hospitality, I tell you. We stayed in room 4 which was quiet and had a firm bed. The location is 6 minutes walk from the town centre and all the coolest pubs, but without the noise following you home if you know what I mean. Liam greeted us each morning warmly and offered encouragement for the day with tips and directions...love it! But the best part, was the awesome breakfasts. Have it 'full on' as Liam says...and enjoy some strong coffee here. Warm up with museli and yogurt and fresh OJ. You will not leave hungry my friend. Thanks again you two. After an overnight flight from the U.S. and a full day of sightseeing before reaching Kilkenny, we were delighted to catch up on our sleep in this comfy B&B. We didn't have an advance reservation but were welcomed to stay the night by James Brennan. T..."he full Irish breakfast the next morning started us out on our second day of vacation, ready to take on the lovely city of Kilkenny. The Bregagh House's convenient location put all of the city within walking distance. Our warm and gracious hostess, Roseann Brennan, kindly allowed us to leave our rental car on her property while we explored on foot. Otherwise, there's no free parking in Kilkenny! We'd be happy to stay with the Brennans again if we ever have the pleasure of returning to this lovely Irish city! " More >
