  "i have just returned from a 3 day trip to the Celtic Manor with 15 friends for my 40th and it was a great experience from start to finish. on arrival we were met by 2 gentlemen who proceeded to empty our bus of all luggage and golf equipment including trolleys and told us "don't worry we will sor..."t these for you", all our bags were then placed in a secure room to pick up later in the day as our rooms were not ready, this did not matter as we were due to play golf within an hour of arrival, but we needed somewhere to change into our golf gear, so we were promptly guided by one concierge to the leisure changing area, while we were changing the other concierge placed all ourt golf equipment onto a shuttle bus and sent them straight away to the Lodge club house, these guys had no reason to do all this for us but to attend to 16 men the way they did was just amazing to say the least. WiFi access was reliable. Spotless bathroom with fluffy towels and good toiletries. A generous courtesy tray awaited us with all the usual teas and coffee - but with an extra touch of instant soups. Great idea! Breakfast, as others have written, was fantastic and served in a small, elegant dining room. In fact, the presentation of the breakfast added to our enjoyment of the plentiful food. Pretty table settings, quality dinner ware and proper cloth napkins. A delight! Crescent Guest House is located not very far from the city centre. I booked on the gourmet special offer it was amazing value ,we had a complementary bottle of wine awaiting us o..."n arrival , 3 course meal at the rafters restaurant which was superb and made extra special by Katy who cooked my steak diane to perfection , A big thankyou to her !!
