A real credit to the team. Food was fantastic, a bit bizarre how the steak is served from one plate to another but so I'm told that's the standard. Food quality... Quite possibly the best steak I've ever had! If I had the money I probably would have ordered the chateau Briand but I went for the rib eye instead. Totally worth it! The receiption desk was very helpful as we arrived early, and although we could not book into until our allocated time, we could park in the rear car park. Check-in was very quick and very simple. We were on the top floor up several sets of w..."inding staircases. The room was large and simple, but clean and adequate for our needs. Same with the bathroom. very large and clean. A few little finishing touches maybe need attention, but nothing to worry about. For the people who have commented that they have had a view of the carpark which is dissappointing, sorry but you failed to mention the lovely view that is the great east window of St Mary's church! I can assure you on a sunny morning as you first look out the window nothing else meets your gaze, especailly not the carpark. Breakfast was excellent.
