  "We stayed two nights whilst walking the South West Coast Path and might have to find an excuse to return to this fabulous hotel. Jeremy and Jeanne were so friendly and welcoming. Our four poster bed was exceedingly comfortable (room 3) and the whole room was full of thoughtful extra touches. The foo..."d was very good, especially the generous breakfasts. Jeremy took a special pride in matching music to the guests tastes - no ubiquitous radio music here! Even a guitar was at hand! Needing a lift to our walk starting point was no problem - Jeremy was happy to oblige with transport and lots of good advice. Parking permits for our car appeared as required. The ambience of Bonnicott House was very relaxing, with lots of books, plants, and interesting items. All in all - top marks! " More >

  "Spring Bank week, my husband and I took our fox terrier Lily and stayed in "Shelley's Cottage" whcih is owned by The Rising Sun. It was lovely, we were all made really welcome and became a reguakr sight in the bar and outside sitting on the wall drinking copius amounts of Exmoor Stag. We ate in the ..."restuarant and in the bar and the food was first class, as was the breakfast the choice and quality of the food was excellent. I hope to go back there and would not hesitate to recommend it. " More >
