  "This was our first visit to Point no Point. I think you need to book your stay further in advance than we did, as a stand alone cabin was not available so we stayed for two nights at BlueJay, but really enjoyed this accommodation and everything about our stay. This is more of a duplex, I would call ..."it. We knew we had neighbors, but we never heard or saw them. This is a loft style accommodation, with the bed upstairs and floor to ceiling windows with incredible views of trees mountains and the ocean. The living room furniture was very comfortable, and it was wonderful to sit by the window, with a fire crackling, and staring at the view. There is lovely little patio with a hot tub and deck chairs which is completely private, and the patio for the other end of this duplex is completely on the other side of the building.   "My husband and I went back to Sooke Harbour House after staying there 25 years before. It was every bit as warm and hospitable as we remembered from years past. We had dinner in the restaurant and it was excellent. We spent a lot of time with binoculars the next morning watching the blue heron's ..."hunt. The room was great and the staff were excellent. The only improvement I would make would be to add some breads to the breakfast basket. Not everyone loves croissants and sweet rolls. Other than that it was perfect. " More >
