  "My review for this resort would get 5 stars if we were just rating the staff. They are very accommodating, sweet, wonderful people. They go out of their way to help you and to serve you. Unbelievable staff! The resort itself is gorgeous. The pool is pristine, the rest.is fabulous. So why only 4 star..."s? The unit we had was pretty but definitely showed some wear. The cabinets were peeling and we had problems with ants. Which the resort staff took care of before we could ever say anything. The major problem with this resort is the Sales Staff! They are relentless and were quite frankly, getting on our nerves. They did provide free bottles of wine, that was wonderful, but the salesman would not take NO for an answer. I think the resort would be better suited if they asked you if you were interested and if you said NO, leave you be. Other than night, it was a wonderful trip. " More >

  "We stayed a week at Simpson Bay and had one extra day so we went to Dawn's Beach and Oyster Bay. What an unexpected surprise. Although the room was small, it was clean and had a great view. The beach was beautiful and bar service was available from Busby's bar. The endless pool is a must see."

  "This was our first trip to the Caribbean, and we put a lot of research into choosing our island and resort. We traded in through Interval, and we had a lot of options. We decided on St. Maarten and the Oyster Bay Resort due to the reviews on this website. We were not disappointed. Originally we ..."were given a room with a view of the bay, but after working with the staff at the front desk we were moved to a room with an ocean view. The room was wonderful. My ONLY complaint would be that we were a little too close to Beau Beau's (restaurant), and on the nights they had karaoke we could hear the bass in our room, but not on the patio. The resort was very secure, and located away from the bright lights and party atmosphere of Simpson Bay. We are a young couple, and definitely prefer a more laid back vacation. The pool is wonderful. The restaurants in the resort are decent. Get to Beau Beaus early to avoid eating during the kareoke. I highly recommend Daniel's by the Sea for dinne... " More >
