The cottage is very bright with a great patio overlooking Emmas and Duncans wonderful garden and has a well equipped kitchen. It's now a destination! The rooms don't have the ambience of a B&B, but the beds and pil..."lows are really good, the rooms tidy and the wake-up call unique: goats! If breakfast is an indication, the food overall is better than your typical hotel-restauruant fare by a good shot, and locally sourced. Service is friendly, parking is ample and the hotel is in easy (10 minutes or less) walking distance to Saturday's Farmer's Market in the heart of Ganges. Salt Spring is clearly struggling - the dear, old Fulford Inn is boarded up, and Moby's Pub is intermittently dead - but the venerable Harbour House is working hard to earn your support! " More >
