Miguel was there and bought our first round, he is a great guy We also saved a good deal of money on our excursions (Vallarta Adventures) booking through the Grand Mayan. Played several rounds of golf and Excursions. Our favorite were a day of beach (catamaran ride, snorkel, kayak, nature trail, with lunch and open bar included to Las Caletas and Rythym of the Nights). I will review what I did use at the hotel. Preferred Club: I didn't think this was a big deal before, but I have to admit this was a nice convenience to have on my trip. I was always snacking on the sandwiches and breakfast that they had outside the preferred club area so it saved me some time in that I didn't have to always go for a sit down breakfast or dinner.
