  "This resort is in a great location, very secluded. The rooms have been upgraded and the grounds are well kept. Other people are right about renting a car. It is an absolute must. If you don't rent a car, the taxi ride from the airport to the resort is $20.00. The resort also allows you to book a c..."ar through them and they will arrange for the car to be brought to the resort and be picked up. Great Option! The staff was very friendly and helpful with suggested activites. The resort will take you into Christiansted for $16 roundtrip. The only downside is that although they have multiple times to travel, the last pick up is 5pm. Buck Island is a must if you love snorkeling. The underwater coral and fish are amazing. The beach at Buck Island is beautiful. I would suggest booking the Buck Island half day and doing your shopping in Christiansted all in one day. The restaurants by the resort are great. Rowdey Joe's, Eat at Cane Bay, and Off the Wall are great options from the Resorts... " More >

  "After a quick 30 minute cab from the airport, we arrived at the beautiful resort to be greeted by genuinely friendly and always helpful check-in/office folks (like Ms. Carr). A 30 sec walk to our garden view room and we were very happy with the a/c, inviting, granite/marble-finished large room with ..."a great king bed. Beach is quiet and beautiful with soft sand and warm water. Always with plenty of towels, chairs, etc. Grounds are beautifully maintained. Pool was large and well maintained. All of the employees from the Engineer David E Baptiste to Negra, and Marietta and all of the waitresses/servers were soooo friendly and engaging - always wanting to help. All of the folks at the dive operation "Sweet Bottom" (Dana, Greg, and Melinda) were wonderful as was the diving. Breakfast and lunch meals were good, dinner could be improved, but a 5-10 min drive along Rt.80 there are excellent little restaurants. We stayed for 10 days and absolutely loved everything.
